Former Congolese President Joseph Kabila meets representatives of religious denominations in Goma | May 2025

Sentenced in mid-2025 by the Congolese military justice system for treason and other charges, former Congolese President Joseph Kabila, who has been living in exile since 2023, travelled last May to the city of Goma, an area under the control of the AFC/M23 rebellion. Stating that his current struggle « is the fight against the tyranny taking root in the DRC », his stay was covered by FACTUALITÉ Afrique, which takes you to the heart of his consultations with various segments of Goma's population.
